Overview

Uttarakhand has a definite magic that attracts you, from its vast arrays of beautiful mountain peaks, surreal sunset points, hiking and trekking trails that lead you to places unknown, this state has got it all.

We start this 3 Nights 4 Days Mussoorie Dhanaulti Tour from the beautiful city of Mussoorie. A lot can be said about Mussoorie, but words fall short to describe this stunning city set in the midst of the Himalayas. Mussoorie is a famous hill station located in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan Range. Once you reach Mussoorie in the evening, head towards Mall Road, which is the city’s most famous place and the hub for the shopping and all the famous eateries.

The next day can be spent in visiting some of the most famous places in Mussoorie, Kempty falls being one of those places. It is a waterfall surrounded by high green mountains with a 40ft drop. You can either walk to the base of the waterfall or take a cable car for the same. A bridge is built near the base of the waterfall which provides the best view. Other places worth visiting include Bhatta falls, Mossy Falls, Mussoorie lake and Company Garden.

Dhanaulti is a hill station located at an altitude of 2,250mts. It is one of the offbeat places in Uttarakhand away from the hustle and bustle of famous tourist spots. The mountain peaks here form a part of the Garhwal ranges. While in Dhanaulti, you can visit various Jain Temples that are revered by the locals. Eco Park Dhanaulti is a quiet and calm place surrounded by tall pine trees with greenery all around. You can indulge in some adventure activities while here like Burma Bridge, Commando net and flying fox. This place is a treat especially for kids. A trip to a very famous and old temple is on the cards, Dashavatar Temple which dates back to the ancient Gupta empire and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The architecture is quite splendid and the interior walls of the temple have beautiful carvings which makes it really unique.

The best time to visit Uttarakhand is from March to June which is the spring/summer months in the region. You can also plan for winter months which are from late October to early February.
